(TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Up 13 cents, or 1.85 per cent, to $7.16 on 8.9 million shares.Canopy Growth Corp. (TSX:CGC). Drug manufacturer. Up 79 cents, or 7.9 per cent, to $10.79 on 6.2 million shares.Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up 12 cents, or 2.76 per cent, to $4.47 on 5.1 million shares.First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 79 cents, or 5.04 per cent, to $14.87 on 4.9 million shares.Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Up eight cents, or 0.33 per cent, to $24.39 on 4.8 million shares.Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX:LUN). Miner. Up two cents, or 0.29 per cent, to $6.84 on 4.7 million shares.Companies reporting major news:Husky Energy (TSX:HSE). Oil and gas. Down 22 cents, or 1.3 per cent, to $16.68 on 2.3 million shares. The Calgary-based company says it will spend an extra $100 million next year to connect additional wells at its underperforming Sunrise oilsands project to spur it to design capacity of 60,000 barrels per day by 2018. The new spending is included in its 2017 capital budget of between $2.6 billion and $2.7 billion, revealed Tuesday.
