Nokia 8.1 launched with Zeiss cameras, 6.18-inch PureDisplay and Android 9 Pie

HMD chief Juho Sarvikas said that the Nokia 8.1 is the direct successor to the Nokia 7 Plus and the company’s newest premium affordable smartphone. The new Nokia 8.1 highlights Zeiss optics, PureDisplay screen, two-day battery life and Snapdragon 710, among other things.The Nokia 8.1 has already started shipping and will be available in December in the Middle East. Sarvikas also confirmed that the Nokia 8.1 will be coming to India soon, which pretty much confirms this will be launched in the country on December 10. The Nokia 8.1 has an Average Retail Price of 399 euros (approx Rs 31,900). We expect the India price to be a little more aggressive, so you can expect it to fall under Rs 30,000.Nokia 8.1 specificationsThe Nokia 8.1 is similar in design and hardware to the China-only Nokia X7.
