Chris Robinson Brotherhood Announces Forthcoming Hiatus, Departure Of Keyboardist Adam MacDougall

first_imgChris Robinson Brotherhood is undergoing some internal changes as they prepare for the forthcoming release of their next studio album, Servants of the Sun. According to a new report shared on Wednesday, the rock band has parted ways with longtime keyboardist Adam MacDougall, who had been with the group (along with the Black Crowes) since 2007. Chris Robinson Brotherhood will also spend the remainder of the year taking a break, presumably limiting the amount of live promotion behind the album.The announcement on Thursday also comes just days before the band is scheduled to perform at the official afterparty at the inaugural BeachLife Festival in Hermosa Beach, CA on Saturday.Related: Chris Robinson Brotherhood Recruits Jay Blakesberg To Direct New Video For “Chauffeur’s Daughter”A statement shared by the band to go with the lineup/hiatus announcement reads, “The CRB and Adam MacDougall have parted ways. Following which, the band will take the remainder of 2019 off.”The announcement also arrived on the same day that the band took to their Facebook to reveal they’ve canceled their scheduled performance at New York City’s Webster Hall on October 9th. Following their appearance at BeachLife, CRB’s 2019 spring tour is scheduled to pick up again on May 16th in Kill Devil Hills, NC and continue until July 1st. The band hasn’t announced who will come on as MacDougall’s replacement for the upcoming run of shows. MacDougall is currently on tour with his other band, Circles Around The Sun, which also includes CRB guitarist Neal Casal.The report goes on to state that the band’s scheduled appearance at this year’s LOCKN’ “is unclear”, as the event appears on both the band’s website.Servants of the Sun is scheduled to arrive on June 14th via Robinson’s Silver Arrow Records. first_imgST This year as well, Association Giro di Sarajevo organizes Giro Bambino, a cycling festival for children, that will be held on Wilson’s promenade on Saturday, 13th June at 3.00 p.m. As in the previous years, the youngest cyclist of Sarajevo will have an opportunity to show their skills at the special polygon, with the support and advices of the members of Giro di Sarajevo. And that is not all – a support to small bikers will be provided by members of the National Team of B&H in road cycling, who will participate in the race Sarajevo Grand Prix, day later.Since Monday, we are training in the outskirts of Sarajevo and the mood is at excellent level. We are especially happy that we will have an opportunity to contribute to this event that really means a lot to our children, said Emir Hulusic, the national team member and the member of the Team Giro.Besides him, in the first team of the National Team of B&H are Djulaga Trejic, Mujo Kurtovic, Nedim Alagic, Josip Cerkez and Benjamin Muric, and they are led by the team leader Hajrudin Trle.
